Solid Wood Hotel Beds and Headboards, Made to Drawings and Repeated Across Every Room
WisutWood makes solid wood headboards and beds to your drawings for hotel, resort and villa guest rooms — upholstered headboards, full timber headboards, wall-height headboard panels, bed bases, extra beds and the bedside tables that match them. Every room is repeated to one spec: the same dimensions, the same wood tone and the same coating, from one factory in Surat Thani, delivered to site across southern Thailand and the islands.
What to think through before you order
- Every room has to match in size, wood tone and surface finish
- The headboard size has to work with the mattress size and the real wall of the room
- Production has to finish before the rooms go on sale
- The pieces have to fit the building’s lifts and corridors
What we make
- Full solid wood headboards
- Upholstered headboards on a timber frame
- Wall-height timber headboard panels
- Bed bases and frames, 3.5–6 ft
- Matching bedside tables
- Bench at the foot of the bed
Every piece is made to the size, species and drawing you specify — nothing is off the shelf.
Woodwork used in related projects
Wood species that suit Hotel Beds & Headboards
- Takhian Thong In stock Moisture-resistant, suited to seaside work · figures are "merawan" trade-group values
- Sadao Thiam In stock The mill's main timber · figures come from a 10-year plantation study (they vary with tree age) — awaiting the factory's own test results
- Rubberwood glued panel In stock The standard for budget furniture · must be kiln-dried and preservative-treated
- Teak On request / sourced The gold standard for durability, naturally termite-resistant
Guest-room furniture can be coated at the factory in either of two systems: lacquer (for heavy use) or food-grade wax · a headboard that is really wall cladding ships planed and unfinished

What project owners ask us first
How long does a project take to produce?
Roughly 7-30 working days after the design is confirmed and the deposit is paid, depending on the design and the number of pieces. The actual time for each job is stated in the quotation.
Is there a minimum order for project work?
We take on jobs with a total order value of 15,000 baht or more (this is a condition for taking the job on, not a product price).
Can you deliver to the islands, and how is freight charged?
Freight to the islands is charged at cost: both the ferry (vehicle barge) and the road distance. It is stated in the quotation.
Can you build to our architect’s drawings and repeat the same spec in every room?
Yes. We build from whatever your architect or interior designer sends — drawing files, reference images or a BOQ — and repeat the same spec across every room, keeping dimensions, species, tone and coating system consistent across the project. A first sample piece can be approved before the production run starts.
Can we see sample work and visit the factory before deciding?
You are welcome to book a visit to see real timber and sample work and tour the factory, during working days and hours.
Questions before you order — Hotel Beds & Headboards
Can you make identical headboards for many hotel rooms?
Yes. We build to one drawing and one spec, keeping dimensions, wood tone and coating consistent across the whole property, and we can make a first sample room for you to approve before the full run starts.
Timber headboard or upholstered headboard — what is the difference?
A solid timber headboard is easy to keep clean, stands up to wiping down and can be refinished. An upholstered one feels softer and absorbs more sound, but the fabric marks and wears faster in a hard-worked room. We make both, on a solid timber frame.
What do you need to price a guest-room set?
The number of rooms, the item list per room, the mattress sizes, the drawings or moodboard you want followed, the species you have in mind and the province of the site. If there are no drawings yet, reference photos with dimensions are enough to start.
Which timber suits hotel beds?
Hard-worked guest rooms usually call for takhian thong (in stock), which is dense and takes knocks well. On a tighter budget, sadao or finger-jointed rubberwood works for some pieces. The wood guide compares them.
Can you deliver guest-room furniture to another province?
We deliver to site across upper southern Thailand as a matter of course (Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Krabi, Phuket, Phang Nga, Ranong, Chumphon, Phatthalung and the islands). Large projects outside that area are delivered nationwide by chartered truck. Quoted prices exclude freight, which is worked out from distance and volume. We manufacture and deliver only, with no installation service — your own carpenter fits the work.
