Solid wood lasts only if the fixings and treatments suit it, so we supply the screws, clips, post bases and preservative or finishing products that match the timber we make for you. Everything arrives together, which means nothing has to be chased separately on site. Order it along with your woodwork.

Questions before you order Hardware & wood care
Stainless or galvanised screws for exterior woodwork?
For exterior work, especially by the sea and around pools, use stainless screws (grade 304 recommended), because they do not rust or leave black stains in the timber. Galvanised screws suit structures under cover where budget matters.
How often does teak oil need reapplying?
It depends on sun exposure and use: areas in direct sun and rain usually need recoating more often than areas under a roof. When the colour starts to fade or water no longer beads on the surface, clean the wood and reapply.
Can I buy hardware on its own without ordering woodwork?
Hardware and wood-care chemicals are mainly supplied alongside the woodwork we make. If you only need the items themselves, ask our team about the range and quantities.
