Full-cycle solid wood factory in Surat Thani — woodwork and solid wood furniture made entirely in-house
Wisutwood Co., Ltd. has been working in solid wood since 1992 (34 years), on an 11-rai site in Mueang Surat Thani. One office and one factory, no branches — we saw our own timber, kiln-dry it, plane it, build 10 woodwork systems and solid wood furniture, and apply finishes to furniture and made pieces only. More than 1,000 projects are in daily use, from resorts on Koh Samui and restaurants to temple columns and school canteen tables.
How we make it

Step 1
Drawings / estimate
Send us drawings, reference photos and the sizes measured at your site. We agree on the use, the wood species and the budget, then send a quotation.

Step 2
Sawmilling and kiln drying
We select and saw the timber ourselves, then kiln-dry it to the moisture content the job calls for, so it shrinks, warps and cracks less.

Step 3
Planing to size
Every piece in the batch is planed to the same specified section. Woodwork (flooring, wall, structure and so on) is supplied planed and unfinished.

Step 4
Shaping and assembly
Our craftsmen cut, groove, turn, joint and assemble furniture or made pieces to your drawing.

Step 5
Finishing (furniture and made pieces only)
Two systems to choose from: lacquer/PU or food-grade wax, checked before dispatch — woodwork leaves the factory unfinished.

Step 6
Delivery to your site
We deliver to sites across upper southern Thailand and the islands; for large projects beyond that area we charter a truck anywhere in Thailand (we manufacture and deliver only — no installation service).

Where is WisutWood, and which areas do you serve?
Our head office and factory are on one 11-rai site in Mueang Surat Thani (there are no branches). We make finished pieces and deliver them to site in Surat Thani and the neighbouring provinces (Ranong, Chumphon, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Krabi, Phuket, Phang Nga, Phatthalung), including the islands of upper southern Thailand. Beyond that area, large projects are shipped anywhere in Thailand by chartered truck (freight quoted by distance and volume).
Does WisutWood manufacture in its own factory?
Yes — an integrated timber factory where our own team handles every step, from sawing and kiln drying to planing, then woodwork across 10 systems, solid-wood furniture and surface coating (furniture and individual pieces only). We have worked with wood since 1992 (B.E. 2535), on homes, made-to-order work and projects.
What is the difference between WisutWood and Furnale?
WisutWood makes woodwork and solid-wood furniture to your drawings and sizes, sells sawn and planed timber, delivers to site and takes on projects, all through a quotation. Furnale is our sister brand, selling smaller wooden pieces, gifts and homeware online and shipping anywhere in Thailand, at furnale.com.
What does WisutWood take on — woodwork or furniture?
Both, in one factory: woodwork across 10 systems (structure and posts-beams, flooring, walls, ceilings, battens, stairs, doors and windows, trim and built-ins, decking and outdoor work), sawn and planed timber, and made-to-order solid-wood furniture in 4 groups (seating, tables, cabinets and shelving, beds) — more than 25 types in 8 styles.
Can I buy sawn or planed timber on its own?
Yes, cut to your sizes. In stock right now are takhian thong and sadao thiam (finger-jointed rubberwood for furniture); other species such as teng, daeng, makha mong and yang na are quoted and sourced per job. Timber is priced by volume (cubic feet).
Does the factory finish or coat the work?
We coat and finish furniture and individual pieces only, with two systems: lacquer/PU and food-grade wax. Woodwork (flooring, walls, ceilings, structure and so on) ships planed and unfinished — your own team finishes it after installation.
