A 10-Point Checklist for Choosing a Full-Cycle Wood Factory for Hotel Projects
· WisutWood, full-cycle solid wood factory in Surat Thani · Wood knowledge and ordering
In short: Pick a factory that mills and builds in-house, controls its own quality, has real projects behind it and delivers on time — that is how you take risk out of a project. Below are the 10 points to check before you decide — and you can run a preliminary estimate to compare right away.
The 10 points to check
- Do they run the full cycle in-house? — from milling through to finished pieces, so quality is controlled (see the real factory)
- Do they have real work of the same kind? — projects delivered
- Workmanship standards and quality control — our standards
- Choice of species — a range that suits the use (wood guide)
- Can they repeat to one standard? — critical when you have many rooms (see hotel furniture)
- Do they build to architects' drawings? — take-off and production to spec
- Transparent pricing — you can see how the price is built up (for example, the estimate tool)
- Delivery — can they reach your site, and handle large jobs in other regions? (delivery)
- A clear scope of service — for example manufacture + delivery (and whether installation is included), so you can plan your own crew
- Communication — a team that answers quickly and gives you complete information
Why a full-cycle factory has the edge
Quality and cost are controlled from the raw timber onward, which suits project work that has to stay consistent — contractors and designers, see the partner page.
Frequently asked questions
Does WisutWood manufacture in-house? Yes — full-cycle production in Surat Thani, on an 11-rai site, since 1992.
Do you install as well? We manufacture ready-assembled modules and deliver them, and your own crew can fit them easily. On-site installation isn't a standard service (our team can assess it case by case); no on-site finishing.
