WisutWood saws and planes solid wood battens to the face width, thickness and length you specify, for wall battens, fence screens, louvers and building facades at resorts, hotels, cafes and homes. Battens are priced per square metre or per metre run and ship planed and unfinished from our Surat Thani factory to sites across the upper south, with nationwide chartered delivery for projects outside that area.

Questions before you order Wood battens & louvers
How wide should the gap between wood battens be?
Most jobs use 1–3 cm. For more screening, keep the gap narrow at about 1 cm; to let more air and light through, use 2–3 cm or wider battens.
Will exterior wood battens rot or fade?
Solid wood in full sun gradually weathers to a silver grey. With a hardwood, a preservative treatment and a UV coating reapplied on a cycle, battens last a long time and hold their colour much better.
How are battens priced?
Batten screens are priced per square metre and plain batten stock per length, depending on species, size and gap spacing. Send the area for an initial estimate.
Can you supply battens in bulk for a project?
Yes. The factory saws and planes battens to one consistent face size across the whole run at the sizes you specify, and ships them planed and unfinished for the project carpenters to install. Send the sizes, quantities and the province of the site for a quote.
Can you deliver battens to other provinces or outside the south?
We deliver to sites across the upper south as standard (Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Krabi, Phuket, Phang Nga, Ranong, Chumphon, Phatthalung and the islands). For larger projects outside that area we charter trucks and deliver nationwide. Quoted prices do not include freight, which is estimated from distance and volume. We manufacture and deliver only. We do not install; your own carpenters do the fitting on site.
