WisutWood makes tongue-and-groove ceiling boards and ceiling battens from kiln-dried solid wood, cut to your sizes, giving guest rooms, lobbies, salas and restaurants warmth and depth at a weight that suits ceiling framing. Ceilings are priced per square metre and ship planed and unfinished from our Surat Thani factory to sites across the upper south, ready for your own carpenters to install and finish. Projects outside that area are delivered nationwide by chartered truck.

Questions before you order Wood ceiling
Is a solid wood ceiling heavy? Does the framing need strengthening?
Ceiling boards are only 1/2–3/4 inch thick, so they are not especially heavy and can be fixed to timber or steel furring at a suitable spacing. Have the installing carpenter check the existing roof structure first.
Can wood ceilings be used for exterior eaves?
Yes. Choose a species that copes with humidity and coat it against water. Eaves soffits are not hit by rain directly but do take humidity and wind, so leave ventilation gaps as well.
How are wood ceilings priced?
Per square metre, by species and by type, either tongue-and-groove boards or battens. Finishing is not included, because woodwork ships planed and unfinished from the factory. Send the room or ceiling area for an initial estimate.
Do you paint the ceiling boards at the factory?
Woodwork ships planed and unfinished. Paint and coatings can be damaged in transit, and the timber has to be cut to fit on site, so your own carpenters finish or coat it after installation. Coatings can be ordered together with the timber.
Can you deliver ceiling boards to other provinces or outside the south?
We deliver to sites across the upper south as standard (Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Krabi, Phuket, Phang Nga, Ranong, Chumphon, Phatthalung and the islands). For larger projects outside that area we charter trucks and deliver nationwide. Quoted prices do not include freight, which is estimated from distance and volume. We manufacture and deliver only. We do not install; your own carpenters do the fitting on site.
