Solid Wood Wall Cladding, Tongue-and-Groove and Shiplap, Made to Size
WisutWood makes tongue-and-groove cladding, shiplap cladding and feature walls from kiln-dried solid wood, cut to your sizes, for interior and exterior walls in resorts, hotels, cafes and homes. Every run is planed to one consistent face size at our Surat Thani factory. Cladding is priced per square metre and ships planed and unfinished, since we do not finish woodwork at the factory, delivered to sites across the upper south and nationwide by chartered truck for projects outside that area.

Questions before you order Wood wall cladding
What is the difference between tongue-and-groove and shiplap cladding?
Tongue-and-groove boards interlock into one flush surface, which suits interior walls. Shiplap boards overlap in steps so rainwater runs off, which is why they are the usual choice for exterior walls.
Which species suits an exterior wood wall?
Use a hardwood that stands up to sun and humidity, such as teak, Takhian Thong or Teng, and coat it against UV and water. Our team can suggest a species to suit the orientation of the wall and your budget.
How is wood cladding priced?
Per square metre, by species, thickness and cladding profile. Finishing is not included, because woodwork ships planed and unfinished from the factory, but coatings can be ordered along with it. Send the approximate wall area for an initial estimate.
Do you paint or coat the cladding at the factory?
Woodwork ships planed and unfinished. Paint and coatings can be damaged in transit, and the timber has to be cut to fit on site, so your own carpenters finish or coat it after installation. Coatings can be ordered together with the timber.
Can you deliver cladding to other provinces or outside the south?
We deliver to sites across the upper south as standard (Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Krabi, Phuket, Phang Nga, Ranong, Chumphon, Phatthalung and the islands). For larger projects outside that area we charter trucks and deliver nationwide. Quoted prices do not include freight, which is estimated from distance and volume. We manufacture and deliver only. We do not install; your own carpenters do the fitting on site.
