Woodwork used in Cafés / Restaurants projects
Wood species that suit Cafés / Restaurants
- Takhian Thong In stock Moisture-resistant, suited to seaside work · figures are "merawan" trade-group values
- Sadao Thiam In stock The mill's main timber · figures come from a 10-year plantation study (they vary with tree age) — awaiting the factory's own test results
- Rubberwood glued panel In stock The standard for budget furniture · must be kiln-dried and preservative-treated
Table tops and counters are best coated in lacquer, which resists water, heat and scratches · serving trays and anything touching food take food-grade wax · decorative woodwork (wall cladding, battens, flooring) ships planed and unfinished, with no factory coating

What project owners ask us first
How long does a project take to produce?
Roughly 7-30 working days after the design is confirmed and the deposit is paid, depending on the design and the number of pieces. The actual time for each job is stated in the quotation.
Is there a minimum order for project work?
We take on jobs with a total order value of 15,000 baht or more (this is a condition for taking the job on, not a product price).
Can you deliver to the islands, and how is freight charged?
Freight to the islands is charged at cost: both the ferry (vehicle barge) and the road distance. It is stated in the quotation.
Can you build to our architect’s drawings and repeat the same spec in every room?
Yes. We build from whatever your architect or interior designer sends — drawing files, reference images or a BOQ — and repeat the same spec across every room, keeping dimensions, species, tone and coating system consistent across the project. A first sample piece can be approved before the production run starts.
Can we see sample work and visit the factory before deciding?
You are welcome to book a visit to see real timber and sample work and tour the factory, during working days and hours.
Questions before you order — Cafés / Restaurants
Which finish suits solid wood café furniture?
Table tops and counters take cold glasses, hot drinks and wiping all day, so a lacquer film is the practical choice. For serving trays or anything in direct contact with food, food-grade wax is better. The same shop can use both systems side by side.
What drives the budget for café furniture?
The number of seats and pieces, the species, how complex the design is, and the coating system. You can run a per-piece estimate on the furniture estimate page straight away, and our team confirms the real price once we have seen your shop drawings.
Can you build an L-shaped or curved bar counter to fit our corner?
Yes — we build to real measurements and your shop drawings. Send the length, depth and height, the shape, and where the counter has to leave room for a sink or equipment, so we can price it and build it to fit.
Do you also take shop woodwork such as timber walls and battens?
Yes. Timber wall cladding, battens, ceilings, flooring and trim for the shop all come from the same factory. Woodwork ships planed and unfinished, for your own carpenter to fit and finish on site.
Can you deliver shop furniture to other provinces?
We deliver to shops across upper southern Thailand as a matter of course. Multi-branch rollouts or large projects outside that area go nationwide by chartered truck. Quoted prices exclude freight · on-site installation isn't a standard service (assessed case by case).
