WisutWood Fit-in · Whole timber buildings & guest-room furniture
Complete Timber Fit-out for Restaurants and Cafés — Floors, Walls, Bar Counters, Tables and Chairs
WisutWood fits out whole restaurants and cafés in solid wood — timber floors, wall cladding, ceilings and battens, bar and order counters, through to tables, chairs and benches, as at Nigiwai Japanese Cuisine in Surat Thani. Ordering from one factory keeps the wood tone and the coating system of the whole room together, gives you one point of contact, and lets everything ship in a single run to site across southern Thailand and the islands.
What to think through before you order
- Tables and chairs in a working room take heavy use and a daily wipe-down
- Space is tight: table sizes and circulation have to come off the real plan
- A bar top meets water, heat and coffee stains
- An opening date means production and delivery have to be scheduled well ahead
What we make
- Bar and order counters
- Solid wood dining tables and table tops
- Chairs, bar stools and long benches
- Timber floors and wall cladding
- Timber ceilings and batten zone dividers
- Shelving and display cabinets
Every piece is made to the size, species and drawing you specify — nothing is off the shelf.
Woodwork used in related projects
Wood species that suit Restaurant & Café Fit-out
- Takhian Thong In stock Moisture-resistant, suited to seaside work · figures are "merawan" trade-group values
- Sadao Thiam In stock The mill's main timber · figures come from a 10-year plantation study (they vary with tree age) — awaiting the factory's own test results
- Rubberwood glued panel In stock The standard for budget furniture · must be kiln-dried and preservative-treated
- Teng On request / sourced Very hard, well suited to exterior decking · figures are "balau" trade-group values tested at ~40% MC (not directly comparable with 12%)
Tables, chairs and counters can be coated at the factory in either of two systems: lacquer (heavy use, stain resistance) or food-grade wax (surfaces that meet food) · flooring, wall, ceiling and batten work ships planed and unfinished

What project owners ask us first
How long does a project take to produce?
Roughly 7-30 working days after the design is confirmed and the deposit is paid, depending on the design and the number of pieces. The actual time for each job is stated in the quotation.
Is there a minimum order for project work?
We take on jobs with a total order value of 15,000 baht or more (this is a condition for taking the job on, not a product price).
Can you deliver to the islands, and how is freight charged?
Freight to the islands is charged at cost: both the ferry (vehicle barge) and the road distance. It is stated in the quotation.
Can you build to our architect’s drawings and repeat the same spec in every room?
Yes. We build from whatever your architect or interior designer sends — drawing files, reference images or a BOQ — and repeat the same spec across every room, keeping dimensions, species, tone and coating system consistent across the project. A first sample piece can be approved before the production run starts.
Can we see sample work and visit the factory before deciding?
You are welcome to book a visit to see real timber and sample work and tour the factory, during working days and hours.
Questions before you order — Restaurant & Café Fit-out
Can we order the room’s woodwork and its furniture from one place?
Yes, and that is the main reason to use a full-cycle timber factory. Floors, walls, ceilings, counters, tables and chairs come from the same timber, so the tone and the coating system match. You deal with one team and everything can ship in one run.
Is a solid wood bar top waterproof?
Solid wood is not waterproof in itself, but a lacquer film handles everyday spills and moisture well. Wipe spills up promptly and avoid putting hot pans straight on the surface. A worn top can be sanded back and re-coated.
Which timber suits restaurant tables?
Hard-worked rooms usually call for takhian thong (in stock), which is dense and resists scratching. On a tighter budget, sadao or finger-jointed rubberwood works for tops and legs. The wood guide compares them.
What do you need to price a whole fit-out?
A plan of the room with real dimensions, the number of covers, the list of woodwork you want (floors, walls, ceilings, counters), reference photos or a moodboard, and the province of the site. Architect drawings or a bill of quantities make the estimate sharper still.
Can you deliver a fit-out to another province?
We deliver to site across upper southern Thailand as a matter of course (Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Krabi, Phuket, Phang Nga, Ranong, Chumphon, Phatthalung and the islands). Large projects outside that area are delivered nationwide by chartered truck. Quoted prices exclude freight, which is worked out from distance and volume. We manufacture and deliver only, with no installation service — your own carpenter fits the work.
