Ordering Headboards and Dressing Tables for a 15-Room Hotel: How Long, and What to Prepare
· WisutWood, full-cycle solid wood factory in Surat Thani · Furniture
In short: The clock starts on the day the design is confirmed and the deposit is paid, not on the day you first get in touch. A 15-room order runs through five steps — send drawings or photos → estimate → one sample room → full production run → delivery to site. The production time the factory commits to is in the project FAQ on the hotel beds and headboards page and in our terms of service; the actual time for your job is stated in the quotation. Price a set.
The five steps of a multi-room order
- Send drawings or photos — the number of rooms, the item list per room, the mattress sizes and the real wall dimensions behind the bed. If there are no drawings yet, reference photos with width, length and height are enough to start.
- Estimate — our team takes off the quantities, proposes the species and the coating system, and issues a quotation that states the production time and the freight for that job.
- One sample room — the first room is built so you can check dimensions, wood tone, finish and hardware. This step is what stops a change being made across the whole batch.
- Full production run — the remaining rooms are built from the approved sample, kept identical throughout.
- Delivery to site — delivery slots are planned around the project's own room programme. We manufacture and deliver only, with no installation service; your project's own crew installs.
What to have ready before asking for a price
- The number of rooms and the pieces per room (headboard, dressing table, nightstand, chair, luggage rack)
- The mattress size for each room type, and the real wall dimensions where the headboard goes
- Drawings, renders or a moodboard to follow
- The species you have in mind — compare hardness and durability in the wood species guide; hard-worked rooms usually call for takhian thong
- The province of the site and any access limits (lift size, door widths) — see where we deliver
Why the sample room pays for itself
The sample room puts the real thing in front of everyone before the decisions are locked: a wood tone that never looks quite like the render, a height that has to work with the actual mattress, and a finish housekeeping will wipe down every day. Fixing one room always costs less than fixing fifteen.
What usually gets ordered together
Beds and headboards · wardrobes, dressing tables and luggage racks · the rest of the hotel's woodwork and furniture on the hotel page
Frequently asked questions
When does the clock start? On the day the design is confirmed and the deposit is paid, not on first contact. The actual time for each job is stated in the quotation.
Can all 15 rooms be identical? Yes. We build to one drawing and one spec, keeping dimensions, wood tone and coating consistent across the whole property.
Can we have one sample room first? Yes, and we recommend it. The sample room is there to check dimensions, wood tone, finish and hardware before the rest of the run starts.
Is installation included? No. We have no installation service — we manufacture and deliver to site, and your project's own crew installs.
