Questions before you order
What does WisutWood take on — woodwork or furniture?
Both, in one factory: woodwork across 10 systems (structure and posts-beams, flooring, walls, ceilings, battens, stairs, doors and windows, trim and built-ins, decking and outdoor work) and made-to-order solid-wood furniture in 4 groups (seating, tables, cabinets and shelving, beds) — more than 25 types in 8 styles. We produce whole projects for hotels, resorts, restaurants and cafés, with planed timber for project and contractor work too.
Can I buy sawn or planed timber on its own?
Yes, cut to your sizes. In stock right now are takhian thong and sadao thiam (finger-jointed rubberwood for furniture); other species such as teng, daeng, makha mong and yang na are quoted and sourced per job. Timber is priced by volume (cubic feet).
Does the factory finish or coat the work?
We coat and finish furniture and individual pieces only, with two systems: lacquer and food-grade wax. Woodwork (flooring, walls, ceilings, structure and so on) ships planed and unfinished — your own team finishes it after installation.
Which areas do you deliver to? Can you ship anywhere in Thailand?
Our main area is a radius of roughly 300 km with normal delivery to site: Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Krabi, Phuket, Phang Nga, Ranong, Chumphon, Phatthalung and the islands of upper southern Thailand. Beyond that, large projects are shipped anywhere in Thailand by chartered truck. Estimated prices do not include freight, which is quoted by distance and volume.
Do you install or finish on site as well?
Our work is made at the factory as ready-assembled modules that are easy to fit on site, so your own team can fit them (guides for timber flooring, decking and structure are on the website). On-site installation isn't a standard service, but our team can assess it case by case: we give you a rough cost first, then go through the details and the actual cost with you. There is no on-site finishing team and no branches.
Do you do wood carving?
Our main work is made-to-order woodwork and solid-wood furniture, which includes Thai mortise-and-tenon joinery, selective carved detailing and turned columns for Thai and Thai-contemporary pieces built to the agreed design. For engraved images or lettering on wood — signs, gifts and keepsakes — we use a laser under our sister brand Furnale (furnale.com). For a specific carved pattern, send a drawing or reference photo and our team will quote it per job.
